Cheshire County Conservation District (CCCD) is currently seeking specialty crop producers in our region with renewable energy or energy efficiency projects to lead a farmer to farmer peer learning visit for New Hampshire specialty crop producers at their farm.

Specialty crops are defined in law as, “fruits and vegetables, maple, tree nuts, dried fruits and horticulture and nursery crops, including floriculture". Read the full definition here!

Farmer to farmer peer learning visits are an exciting opportunity to connect with other farmers, share your farm's exciting projects, and gain exposure through CCCD's outreach and social media! These on-farm demonstrations/workshops could be held at any point between October 2022 and August 2024 but we are interested in hearing from you now to plan when would be best for your farm.

Interested farmers should contact Benée Hershon at 603-756-2988 x3011 or email benee@cheshireconservation.org
