"The Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE) final rule was published in the Federal Register, with with an implementation date set for March 19, 2024. Organic Farmers Association has been advocating for the finalization of this important rule to protect independent organic farmers and applauds its release. Preventing fraud in the organic marketplace through stronger enforcement has been a top priority for OFA members since our founding, and we have advocated for finalization of SOE before Congress and the USDA for years." Read the full comments on the rule here.
