As of February, more than 482,000 Granite State residents lived in households that reported food insecurity, according to tracking by New Hampshire Hunger Solutions. More than 30 percent of them were children. An organic farming organization says everyone should have access to fresh and local food. It's giving limited-income New Hampshire residents until April 9 to apply for a farm share program, which offers community-supported agriculture shares, commonly known as CSAs, for discounted prices.
