In response to both extreme weather events (late freeze and flooding) in Summer 2023, various agricultural support organizations across New Hampshire have aggregated resources for farmers to recover, as well as surveys to collect data about the effects of the weather events. NOFA-NH: Climate Impacts on NH Farms 2023

The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire (NOFA-NH) is conducting an initial assessment of the impact of the July 2023 floods on all New Hampshire farms, conventional or organic, as well as other climate-related events in 2023. If you are a farmer impacted by the recent flooding, frost or freeze damage this season, please let them know what you need by filling out the short form. Respond to the survey

Visit NH's Orchard Survey
Following the challenging frost event earlier this spring, the Division of Travel and Tourism is developing a strategy aimed at supporting New Hampshire farms and driving visitation to farms during fall. To help in this process they are gathering information from farmers. RESPOND TO THE SURVEY

UNH Extension's Fruit Growers Economic Loss Survey
UNH Extension is conducting a fruit crop loss impact survey and will compile the results to inform the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food and the USDA Farm Service Agency so that they can provide more detailed information when advocating to legislators for additional aid.
