Summer 2022, Minorities in Aquaculture kicked off their internship program with 5 MIA members who they fully funded throughout their internship! Ranging from PhD to undergrad, the interns had an opportunity to explore their interests in aquaculture through hands on experiences either on the farm or in the lab.
For Year 2 in Summer 2023, they have successfully funded 12 internship opportunities across 7 different states!
MIA Summer Internships are tailored to each individual member and logistics are determined after selection. Internships typically begin in June 2024 and end in August 2024. Learn more and apply
