On February 2, the NH Food Alliance (NHFA) hosted "NH Food and Agriculture Strategic Plan: An Introduction and Input Session" as part of their 2023-2024 Network Café Series to provide an overview of how and why they are spearheading the development of the NH Food and Agriculture Strategic Plan. Following a presentation about the strategic plan from Project Director, Nicole Cardwell, and Project Manager, Celie Boley, café attendees split into groups to provide input on the topics and issues to be covered in the plan.

Our next Network Cafe will be on Friday, March 1 from 12-1PM. As part of the NH Food and Agriculture Strategic Plan process, the NH Food Alliance has taken advantage of a unique partnership opportunity through the University of Vermont (UVM)’s Alternative System Pathways for Interconnected Resilience, Equity, and Sustainability (ASPIRES) program. The ASPIRES program team will host a focus group with Network Café attendees to glean information that will inform both the strategic plan’s priority strategies and the program’s goal of identifying research needs in the New England food system.
