Elise Neidecker
Elise studied Environmental Sociology and Modern Languages at Kenyon College, and is completing her Master’s in Agricultural Sciences and Food Systems at the University of New Hampshire. In her thesis research and graduate research assistantship, she has studied farm viability in New England, farmer livelihood strategies, and value chain coordination in local grain value chains.
Before coming to UNH, Elise worked for Global Greengrants Fund in Boulder, Colorado, where she managed regional grantmaking for the Latin American, Central and West African advisory boards, and for the Agroecology Fund and Pesticide Action Network partner advisory boards. She has additional nonprofit experience in program evaluation, operations, and development.
Elise lives in Dover, NH with her partner and can typically be found baking bread, listening to podcasts, or meeting friends for coffee.
