UNH Sustainability Capstone Request for Proposals

Do you have a project idea that you need help with? A research question that needs answering? Enjoy working with students who are passionate about sustainability? 

The UNH Sustainability Dual Major program is seeking community partners for their UNH Sustainability Dual Major capstone course in Spring 2025. If your organization or business could benefit from 4-5 highly motivated students working to move your initiatives forward, apply today! Students would spend approximately 25 hours/week collectively from late January-May on your project. 

 Project topics can be wide ranging, but need to: 

  1. be related to sustainability 
  2. address an identified community need 
  3. have some kind of research component (lit review, interviews, survey, data collection of some sort to answer a question or generate new information) 
  4. have a project mentor who can advise the students regularly (approx. 1 hour/week) and
  5. have realistic objectives/deliverables that students can complete in over the course of one semester.
