RAFI’s Climate and Equity Policy Project puts farmers of color at the center of policy conversations by providing funding and support to groups predominantly led by or serving farmers of color in order to engage in climate-related policy advocacy for the Farm Bill. The Climate & Equity Policy Project is part of the Farm Bill Grassroots Capacity Building Project, a collaborative effort between Waverley Street Foundation, Regenerative Agriculture Foundation (RAF), National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC), and RAFI.
RAFI is now accepting applications for the third round of Climate & Equity Policy Grants. Led by a new review committee of five members, this round of funding aims to support new and existing grantee organizations to engage and lead their agriculture communities in local and federal policy work.
