Grant focus: Enhance the competitiveness of New Hampshire specialty crops

Summary: The intention of this grant is to conduct projects that enhance the competitiveness of New Hampshire specialty crops: fruit, vegetables, nursery, floriculture, herbs, maple, Christmas trees, and honey crops. Grant projects may focus in the following areas, but are not restricted to these areas exclusively: Addressing local, regional and national challenges confronting specialty crop producers, including topics such as Food Safety, Pest and Disease Prevention and Control, Technology Development; Research and development relevant to specialty crops; Leveraging efforts to market and promote specialty crops; Expanding availability and access to specialty crops
