Northeast Forest Farmers Coalition (NFFC) - a partnership of individuals, universities, nonprofits, businesses, and other organizations with the shared goal of bringing forest farming opportunities and education to the Northeastern United States. Forest farming is an agroforestry practice that includes managing or establishing stands of trees or shrubs in coordination with the management and/or cultivation of understory plants or non-timber forest products. At the bottom of this email we have included additional information about the NFFC.

We are writing to ask you to fill out a survey about the ways the technical services you provide might support forest farming in the Northeast. This survey is intended for technical assistance providers who support forest landowners and land managers in the Northeast, which includes Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.. While we have a focus on service providers who currently support forest farmers, we are also interested in hearing from service providers who are interested in supporting forest farmers; an area of focus for the NFFC is developing educational resources for service providers.
