It's year three of the Abenaki Seeds Project here in the Kearsarge area. Kearsarge Food Hub is delighted to continue this partnership with Abenaki Trails and others to nurture a community of growers and support the Abenaki Helping Abenaki Food Pantry.
Gardeners sign up to receive seeds and starts to grow a Three Sister's Garden and donate their harvests to the pantry. Kearsarge Food Hub assists you every step of the way with a growers guide and an easy system for donating through the hub.
Looking back at last year's program, the Abenaki Seeds Project is a beautiful opportunity to weave together gardening education, knowledge of Native foodways, food security efforts for tribal neighbors, and building community connections.
