New Hampshire farm and food businesses are invited to submit a proposal for up to $100,000 to fund the purchase of equipment or infrastructure that will build capacity for their business in collaboration with others. The deadline to apply has been extended to February 7, 2025.
The grant program is administered by the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food as part of the USDA’s Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure (RFSI) program. The purpose of the RFSI program is to build resilience in the middle of the food supply chain, defined as everything after production and before direct retail. In New Hampshire, the program, including the Equipment Grant Program, has a strong focus on collaborative sales, marketing and distribution through shared-use equipment and infrastructure.
