Part of NH Food Alliance's 2024-2025 Network Cafe Series

On February 7, the NH Food Alliance held its February Network Café, part of its monthly Network Café part of their 2024-2025 Network Café Series. We were joined by Beth Zschau, Program Officer at the Henry P. Kendall Foundation, to learn about the structure, eligibility, and review criterion of the New England Food Vision Prize and brainstorm ideas for the 2025 request for proposal that could fund innovation in our food system.

The New England Food Vision Prize, offered annually each spring by the Henry P. Kendall Foundation, awards grants up to $200,000 to projects aiming to increase the amount of local and regional food prepared and served on New England college and university campuses and within K-12 public school districts, helping to strengthen the region’s food system.

Please view the full recording of the February Network Café below. Feel free to follow along with the recording using the the Network Café agenda here and the slide presentation here. And if you attended the Network Café and did not take the evaluation, please respond here.

Our next Network Café in the series will be on Friday, March 7 from 12-1PM. We will be hosting advocates from housing and agricultural land use sectors to talk through common issues facing both sectors – and hear examples that equally prioritize a community's housing needs and protecting agricultural lands. Register and get more details here
